Gr 2 Wax Museum

On May 22nd, the second grade presented their Living Wax Museum.  Students showcased a wide variety of famous personalities from Lucille Ball to Pope Francis.  The presentations were impressive as students recited biographies of the person they studied.  We learned about the discoveries of Madame Curie and the creative works of Theodore Geisel (Dr. Seuss) and Walt Disney.  Modern figures included Steve Jobs and Michell Obama.  We even had the English Royalty represented by Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.  Enjoy our photos on the class pages as well as the photo tab (SMCA 2017-2018/Wax Museum).  Thank you, Mrs. Preiss, for helping to make this event a great success.  Our thanks, too, for our awesome sign created by our 6th and 7th grade artists!
