Welcome to 1B
March has been a fun month! We celebrated Dr. Seuss’ Birthday for a whole week. We had a parade for Crazy Hat Day, wore our clothes backwards and mismatched for Wacky Wednesday, and had Teacher Swap Day.
January/February were busy months. We celebrated Catholic Schools Week. We started the the week with a school mass. During the week we had a Book Fair, Student Appreciate Day, and Teacher Appreciation Day. For Student Appreciation Day we had a puppet show.
December we prepared for the birth of Jesus. Our Christmas Show was a success and we had fun singing with our buddies!
November was a time to be thankful! We gave thanks for our family, friends, and school!
October we learned about Fall and had our first field trip to Queens Museum and Farm. The children learned how to make apple cider.
September was a great month! We practiced Fire Drills, learned the rules and procedures of First Grade.
