LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER is a welcoming place to learn and teach,
it must be fully integrated into the curriculum to encourage a love of reading.
The students are checking in and out the library books every week,
it’s the way how to encourage to read.
We are learning:
How to take care of a book with Mr. Wiggle
Where the books are organized in the library: fiction & non-fiction
Using self markers to help organize our books
and the Dewey Decimal System
I’m glad to have been
your Spanish and Librarian teacher.
I’ve come to love you so much,
I can’t believe the end is here.
Remember all the fun we had,
and all the things we did;
but most of all remember that
You’re very special to me!

DR. SEUSS BIRTHDAY:
This month (March) we are celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday. He wrote books, not only for humor but also creativity. He wrote quotes that stick with us, and maybe also give us a bit of advice that kids and adults should take to heart.

Welcome back to St. Matthias School!
My name is Mrs. Paola Perez. I am excited to be working as the school’s librarian. My goal for this year is to help each student develop a love of reading.
“To read a book for the first time is to make an acquaintance of a new friend;
to read it a second time is to meet an old one”.
