The Home and School Association of St. Matthias School is a school organization established to foster closer communication and cooperation between the parents and the school. It also aims to promote a deeper understanding of the mutual responsibilities parents and teachers have as co-educators. It is responsible for a major share of the fundraising critical to controlling tuition costs. Membership in the organization is required of all parents or legal guardians of students in Grades K through 8; nominal dues are paid annually. For parents or legal guardians of Pre-K students, membership is optional but is encouraged. All faculty are members of the association.
Parents are asked to support the various projects and events sponsored by the Home School Association throughout the year, not only for the funds that are raised, but also for the important lessons of teamwork and cooperation that are modeled for our student body.
