Volunteers

What is a volunteer? A volunteer is a non-salaried individual who performs a service under the direction of the Administration, Faculty, Home and School Association, or for a recognized school activity. A volunteer may provide a direct service such as tutoring, mentoring, or chaperoning; or a support or fundraising service, such as working events, preparing correspondence for student folders, processing orders for a school fundraiser, etc. All jobs are vitally important, and all volunteers are a blessing.

The school is fortunate to have parents who go the extra mile and lend a hand whenever help is needed. Without dedicated volunteers, the school could not provide the children with extracurricular activities such as pizza days, holiday boutiques, student appreciation day, and winter carnival, to name a few. The school operates as an extended family unit, and many members acting in unison are required to make it successful. The need for lunch duty volunteers continues throughout the year and provides the additional security that is so reassuring. While your tuition dollars help meet educational costs, your presence at events and your role as a volunteer teaches important lessons about giving and working together.

As a volunteer, please be mindful of the following:

Enjoy the feeling of fulfillment that comes from knowing that your actions benefit the children in countless ways!
